You’re encouraged to exercise during pregnancy, but the guidance and advice is often unclear. Strong Mums is a workshop that will provide clear guidance about why it is important to stay strong during pregnancy, what is safe and what you can do at home. Charlie Launder, a pre and postnatal personal trainer and Clare Bourne, a Women’s Health Physiotherapist will take you through the workshop and answer any questions you might have. It will also cover how to prepare physically for labour, why recovery is so important and what you can and can’t do in the first 6 weeks postnatal. It will be practical, relaxed and shaped by the group’s questions.
